iSurv1vor: MacedoniaAll Stars 3 is the twenty-third season of the Online Reality Game iSurv1vor.

This season was slated to be the final installment of the series much like Tasmania as Sandros chose to no longer continue. Two series spun off from iSurv1vor with alumni forming their own teams known as, ProSurvivor and Endure currently produce a variation of webcam and skype games. The series was later revived in 2015 with Botswana.

As with previous All Star seasons[1] those competing have played iSurv1vor before. Thirty people were invited to compete, the largest number of castaways to date since All-Stars, which held the record with twenty-seven. This season also saw the return of Allan, Britti and Taylor who became the first players to compete for a 4th time and would later campaign for a coaches role in Jordan.

Similar to All-Stars, the 39-day format was not formatted to fit the size of the cast and instead will last 52 days.[2]

On Day 1 the castaways divided into three tribes bearing the Greek aspect of the country, after the first Immunity Challenge, all those competing were informed that half of them would form an opposing Roman force and create their own tribes - these two rival groups, known as Dominions, will compete for Immunity as usual but one tribe from each Dominion would face Tribal Council each round.

On Day 7 the castaways were informed of two Hidden Immunity Idols (one for each Dominion) that requires nine pieces to complete, on the same day, Alyx, Jared, Joe and Nicole won a Reward Challenge where they captained four new tribes.

Day 16 saw the Achilles and Agamemnon tribes merge into Ellada - and the Romulus and Remus tribes merge into Roma, where another tribe swap occurred on Day 25 known as The Infiltration.

The Hidden Immunity Idol for this season was split into two halves (Roman and Greek) and when combined would become a regular Idol. Alex and Dave found the halves however before it could be put into play they had to complete a version of the Prisoners Dilemma, if both players agreed to share the Idol then it would go into the game. Both agreed with the stipulation that if one party wishes to use it, the other party must agree.

On Day 34, the castaways merged to Olympia however the previous eighteen players voted out beforehand would be given an opportunity for one player to re-enter the game and continue their pursuit for the title, Mike won against Kyle and re-entered with Individual Immunity.

The iSurv1vor Scavenger Hunt returned after the revamp in Haiti with "This Is How We Do" by Katy Perry as the song of the season.

Six players from this season also gained entry to the 100 Club with Mike on Day 19, Taylor on Day 11, Joey on Day 37, Alex on Day 28, Nicole on Day 43 and Joe on Day 22.

Joey won the season in a 5-4-1 vote defeating Chris and Debbie.

Ryan won Player of the Season in an 8.85% vote defeating Alex, Dave, Joey and Chris.

Sandy has confirmed his intention to host Macedonia and will step down from the role of Executive Producer on completion. A Blood vs. Water style season spearheaded by two-time player Kirin (Peru & Montenegro) following her lead role as a host from Bali was in development going as far as early casting calls to gather interest on the iSurv1vor Facebook Group[3] however, on May 9th, 2014, the season reverted to an All-Stars.[4] Samm will join Production once again joined by newcomer Bailey (Venezuela).

José will return to host iS Live marking his third time to front the show.

Unlike previous All-Stars, restrictions for particular players were lifted, specifically Sole iSurv1vor's being ineligible to compete was not enforced for Jacob as he was one of the first to be revealed as a castmate and the rule of a maximum of three-times you can play iSurv1vor as Allan, Britti and Taylor became the first players to play for a 4th time. Andii (Hawaii, All-Stars & Faroe Islands) was also under consideration but could not be contacted in time. She returned in Botswana.

Unlike the two previous seasons where applicants had to take part in an interview process, Sandy officially announced that returning players will be invited by himself to compete stating "AS3 is going to consist of players I enjoy and want to host again"[5] all potential players were given a two-week countdown to complete their required videos on July 2nd, 2014.[6]

The game drew mixed to positive response due to the inflated cast and newly created tribes every other round, thus making the game feel more individual during the tribal phase. Sandy went on record to say that while he enjoyed having the cast play, thirty players was too much and that future All-Stars would have a greater focus on quality than quantity.

  • The logo was designed exclusively for iSurv1vor by Gray Venezuela. This marks the fourth exclusive logo.
  • This cast is set to hold thirty people, the largest amount of players at one time in iSurv1vor history.
  • This season will be the first to premiere players competing for a 4th time.
  • 18 out of 22 seasons were represented with the exception of China, Egypt, Canada and Bermuda.
  • In a reverse of Tasmania, a Favorite beat a Fan at the finale.
